CPS 4301 – Software Engineering

Objective

This project aimed to develop a WeChat Mini Program tailored for the Wuma Street tourist area in Wenzhou. Users receive randomized restaurant suggestions with built-in navigation. A merchant-side system was also developed for dish management and publishing. The project followed a full software engineering cycle, including requirement analysis, system design, testing, and on-site validation.

• Wrote the full software requirements specification (SRS)
• Participated in user interviews and use-case modeling
• Designed and conducted software test cases and validation
• Coordinated A/B testing and user feedback sessions
• Tracked post-deployment user reactions and improvement plans

Results

• Successfully delivered a dual-end WeChat Mini Program for users and vendors
• Enhanced user dining decision-making experience via randomized selection
• Completed full software lifecycle: requirement → design → implementation → testing
